1. Who we are

The Bosphorus Shore Fishing Experience ("the Experience") is organised and hosted by DAS Experiences, Istanbul ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@dasexperiences.com or on WhatsApp.

2. Booking and payment

• Sending a request through this page does not create a booking and costs nothing. A booking exists once we confirm your date in writing and the payment link we send you has been paid.
• The listed price is per guest and includes everything described under "What's included" on the experience page.
• Group size is limited to six guests per session. Private sessions and larger groups are arranged individually.
• Good news: direct online card payment on this website is being activated soon. Until then, once your date is confirmed you receive a secure payment link (3-D Secure, via a licensed payment institution) and your spot is held the moment it is paid.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling

• Cancel more than 24 hours before the session: full refund.*
• Cancel between 24 and 12 hours before the session: 50% refund.*
• Cancel within 12 hours of the session: no refund.*
• If we cancel for weather or safety reasons, you choose between a full refund and a new date. Rescheduling for weather is always free.

* Cancellation windows can differ from experience to experience. The exact terms that apply to your booking are always shown in the details section of that experience’s own page.

4. Weather and safety

• The Experience takes place outdoors on a public quay. We decide, at our sole discretion, whether conditions are safe; sessions may be moved or cancelled at short notice.
• You must follow the host's safety instructions at all times, particularly near the water's edge and when handling hooks, lines and caught fish.
• Children are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult for the whole session.

5. Your responsibility

• You take part at your own risk. To the extent permitted by Turkish law, we are not liable for personal injury, loss or damage to personal belongings arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• You are responsible for wearing suitable footwear and clothing as described on the experience page.
• You are responsible for any damage you cause to equipment through misuse.

6. Fish, catch and local rules

Recreational shore fishing in Istanbul is conducted in line with the rules published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for amateur fishing. Undersized or protected fish are released. Your legal catch is yours to keep.

7. Photos and videos

We sometimes take photos or short clips during sessions for our own records and marketing. Tell us at the start of the session if you prefer not to appear in any of them — we will fully respect that.

8. Personal data

The details you send through the booking form (name, contact details, date, group size, notes) are used only to respond to your request and organise your session, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. See also our Privacy Notice.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute.
